PLC Technician / Automation Technician (f/m/x)

About the role

Get our cable manufacturing machines up and running – whether at our site in Pischelsdorf or at customer locations around the world. We offer you comprehensive training and a wide variety of tasks in a technical and creative working environment. In detail:

• You develop and program the control software for our machines and systems – mainly using Siemens TIA Portal.
• You test PLC programs directly on the machines in our in-house Development Center.
• You commission machines in our commissioning hall and carry out individual machine tests.
• After completing your training, you will also travel internationally to commission our machines and systems at customer sites worldwide.

About you

• A completed technical college education (HTL), e.g. in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering, or alternatively a completed apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics with an interest in programming
• Basic programming skills, e.g. acquired at school
• No previous work experience required – we will provide you with comprehensive training for your role
• Good command of English
• An independent, responsible and precise way of working
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including business trips lasting several weeks

• A maximum of 50% travel – guaranteed. We even include this limit in your employment contract, unless you voluntarily choose to travel more.
• No stress: Our in-house Travel Management team takes care of the entire organization of your business trips, including a taxi service from your home to the airport and back.

We are willing to offer a salary above the collective agreement minimum. Your actual salary will depend on your qualifications and professional experience. The legally required minimum salary according to the Collective Agreement for the Metalworking Industry is € 3,396.21 gross per month on a full-time basis.
