About the role
To ensure that everything runs smoothly – in the truest sense of the word – we are looking for reinforcement in the Facility Management Office. In this role, technical practical knowledge meets planning, coordination, and implementation. You will ensure that buildings, infrastructure, and processes function reliably and are further developed. In detail:
- Responsibility for the smooth operation, maintenance, and upkeep as well as further development of our buildings, infrastructure, and outdoor facilities
- Collaboration in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and goals in facility management
- Obtaining quotes, tenders, and qualified commissioning of external services in consultation with management
- Organization and coordination of services and trades tenders
- Management and monitoring of external services and maintenance companies
- Planning, organization, and technical support for building services, including the definition of necessary measures
- Supporting production in the cost-effective handling of products and machine maintenance
- Supporting the safety officer and company-wide support with technical issues
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations
- Technical inspections, condition assessments, and ongoing documentation
About you
- Completed training in a technical or manual profession
- Several years of practical experience (at least 3 years) in a technical environment, e.g., building services engineering, maintenance, operations, planning, or project management of building services systems
- Advantageous: Training/further education as a building services engineer, fire safety officer, representative and/or waste management representative
- Good IT skills (MS Office) and enjoyment of coordinating, planning, prioritizing, and documenting neatly
- Organizational skills and strong communication skills in dealing with internal and external partners—by email, phone, or in person
- Basic knowledge of English

We determine the salary / wage together with you. The minimum for this position is 3.055,13 EUR gross per month, working full time. (Collective Agreement: Metalltechnische Industrie)
