About the role
As an Area Service Manager in Customer Service, you will support select international customers of our “Cable and Wire” business unit following successful commissioning or system acceptance. You combine technical expertise with a customer-focused approach and, together with our service team, foster long-term customer partnerships.
In detail:
- You are the primary point of contact for your customers in after-sales service
- You strengthen customer loyalty through active and professional support
- You coordinate all service tickets and troubleshooting measures for your customers
- You sell and organize service calls, system audits, and service contracts
- You handle system modifications and upgrades—from quote preparation to order fulfillment
- You coordinate internal and external interfaces between customers, service, engineering, and sales
- You contribute to the further development of our service portfolio
- You take responsibility for complex customer inquiries and maintain a clear overview even in challenging situations
About you
- A technical degree (HTL, FH/TU), ideally with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology
- Several years of professional experience in plant engineering, service sales, or service and commissioning engineering; relevant experience as a Service Manager is not required
- Technical understanding combined with business acumen
- Ability to work independently, results-oriented, and a team player
- Very good English skills
- Very good MS Office skills
- SAP skills are a plus

We determine the salary / wage together with you. The minimum for this position is EUR 3.893,31 EUR gross per month, working full time. (Collective Agreement: Metalltechnische Industrie)
