About the role
Together with the Design, Electrical Engineering, Automation, and Project Management teams, you will ensure that our machines and systems are implemented safely, in compliance with standards, and in a practical manner. Your primary focus will be at our Pischelsdorf location. You will provide advisory support to our international locations as needed.
- Preparing and maintaining risk assessments for machines and systems
- Collaborating on the development, implementation, and refinement of safety concepts
- Advising specialized departments on machine safety and safety-related regulatory requirements
- Coordinating and tracking risk mitigation measures
- Contributing to the safe and standards-compliant implementation of our machines and systems
- Researching and evaluating relevant standards, guidelines, and technical requirements
- Further developing internal standards, processes, and tools
- Conducting technical coordination with customers and international locations as needed
About you
- Completed technical training (HTL, apprenticeship with continuing education/master certification, university of applied sciences, or university) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable field
- Knowledge of the CE Machinery Directive or Machinery Ordinance is a plus, but not a requirement. More important are your technical understanding, your willingness to learn, and your interest in further developing your expertise in the field of machine safety.
- Technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems
- A structured and meticulous approach to work with a pragmatic eye for practical solutions
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for collaborating with different departments
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Good English skills
- Willingness to travel on an occasional basis (approximately 5 times per year for 1–2 days)

We determine the salary / wage together with you. The minimum for this position is 3.458,06 EUR gross per month, working full time. (Collective Agreement: Metalltechnische Industrie)
